eatlocal6Join local farmers, restaurant chefs, caterers, and food service directors from schools, hospitals, and nursing homes for a day of networking and planning future ventures for the West Georgia Regional Food System Collaborative.

The event will feature a panel discussion with Tommy Searcy from Gum Creek Farms, Chef Tano Phommasith of Little Hawaiian and Linette Dodson, Director of School Nutrition for Carrollton City Schools. Attendees can also participate in “Speed Dating for Farmers and Chefs,” an opportunity for farmers and chefs to network one on one. Bring your business cards and brochures.  Samples from farms are welcomed.

Cost: $5.00 includes snacks and supplies.

Please pre-register by November 4.  Checks can be made payable to Carroll County 4-H.
